My dad was working on the car. He dropped a nut and it rolled away.
“Can you find that nut please Carole?” He asked.
I said “Yes Dad” and went to find it.

“It may have fallen down a deep, dark hole,” I said to myself. “I know! I will go and get a rope, a torch and my cat, Emma. Then we will climb down the rope and into the deep, dark hole.”

The deep, dark hole led into a long, dark tunnel.
Emma and I began to look for the nut.
“You look round here. I’ll look just there. That nut is down here, somewhere!”

While we were in the long, dark tunnel it began to rain. It rained a little at first.
Then it rained a little bit more.
Then it rained a lot!
The water poured into the tunnel.
Emma and I were swept away by the flood.
